The Asciimilator application was designed to be a small tool that can convert bitmaps to HTML files that use ASCII characters to represent the bitmap’s pixels. Color Code Compression: The default settings use 256 colors. In some situations it can be more efficient to use fewer colors. The „Compression“ setting will reduce the color resolution of the image.
